Being the sundry chronicles and historical narratives of a very long-standing and continuous sequence of adventures and escapades befalling a troupe of adventurers in the realm of Dungeons and Dragons.
THE TRAVELLED WORLD OF THE TROUPE
The troupe found the map shown below soon after reconstruction in
their new location in the multiverse. It seemed to reveal the entire extent of an ancient
world in which they had found themselves.
|
After considerable investigation, but early in their adventure, the names and locations of several regions had been identified, and the troupe decided that detailed maps showing the terrain and major towns and cities would be drawn as they explored the land. |
HOW THE LAND WAS EXPLORED
3. Elphand Lands During 1989-1992 (our time), the troupe explored thoroughly these lands, passing south from the Snake River, through the Forbidden Forest, taking a boat across the bay, and then encircling the massive Irminsul Forest and Plain of Kethe. There were many adventures, including in the Jutting Peaks. |
2. Valon Over about 2 1/2 years until the end of 1988 (our time) the troupe crossed the nothern-most reaches of the land, from Nimbertal and the Shielding Mountains, along the coast through Alderberon, to the Wilderland Mountains in the west of Valon. |
1. Valley of the Ancients Apparently many travellers have landed unexpectedly in this region. Our troupe did so in about June 1980 (our time) and investigated the entire valley from Weredstone in the east to Tarsh in the west, by July 1986 (our time). |
4. City State of the World Emperor First visited during 1994 and 1997 (our time), this most important region is now well known to our troupe, and every part has been visited and explored. Irilian is the spiritual centre for two of the troupe. The many islands in the region have also been visited. |
5. City State of the Overlord In 1998, the troupe travelled to the central part of this region. Grimlon, a major town in this region, has since featured significantly in the exchanges of power. These most important events are chronicled and are likely to change the course of the history of the entire world. |
6. Tarantis This region is so far unexplored by our troupe - very little is therefore known about it, and no maps are in their possession. |
7. Desert Lands In 1999 (our time) the troupe made a major journey by boat into the Desert Lands. Their adventures here are well-chronicled and to some extent are still underway, although the troupe are at present located in two parts of Lenap, to the south of these lands. |
8. Barbarian AItanis This region was explored so some extent in 2010 (our time) by our troupe when they helped some pearl fishers who were being murdered by an evil mage in the caverns under the rocks near Vardane. They then went in chase of Lizard Men, towards Cape Kumar. |
9. The Isles of the Blest This region is so far unexplored by our troupe - very little is therefore known about it, and no maps are in their possession. |
10. Lenap May 2000 (our time) finds the troupe split, with half of them still in Ferec Idu in the Desert Lands and the other half in the south of Lenap in Pax Tharkas deeply embroiled in adventure as always! |
11. Ebony Coast This region is so far unexplored by our troupe - very little is therefore known about it, and no maps are in their possession. |
12. Isles of the Dawn This region is so far unexplored by our troupe - very little is therefore known about it, and no maps are in their possession. |
13. Seas of Five Winds This region is so far unexplored by our troupe - very little is therefore known about it, and no maps are in their possession. |
14. Ghinor This region is so far unexplored by our troupe - very little is therefore known about it, and no maps are in their possession. |
15. Silver Skein Isles This region is so far unexplored by our troupe - very little is therefore known about it, and no maps are in their possession. |
16. Ancient Tundra This region is so far unexplored by our troupe - very little is therefore known about it, and no maps are in their possession. |
17. Ghinor
Highlands This region is so far unexplored by our troupe - very little is therefore known about it, and no maps are in their possession. |
18. Southern Reaches This region is so far unexplored by our troupe - very little is therefore known about it, and no maps are in their possession. |
