Oonsla - another visit - 2008

Sometimes during the many alterations of the space-time continuum that our adventurers have to do, things go wrong. When it does they end up in some strange times and places. We have provided some links below so that you can see what happened when they became involved in what was going on when they by chance they "landed" in a strange place and strange time!

Avenging the Murder of Mayor Eutenax in Oonsla

An interesting situation arose in August 2008, once again after a mis-rolled dice, when the troupe found themselves back in Oonsla, at a time some two months after the murder of Mayor Eutenax.

The younger brother of Eutenax, Bannu Ammar, arrived in Oonsla from Tak Shire. Bannu had a business in Tak Shire, but also became due to inherit Eutenax's thriving and profitable grain business in Oonsla. He also wished to avenge the murder of his brother.

Some three weeks earlier, Bannu had hired the Oonsla town scribe named Adbul Caldni Vir, a rather slippery character, to investigate his brother's death. Abdul lived and worked in the library in the town.

Abdul was able to tell Bannu that the female assassin went under the assumed name of Irena Yar, and posed as the town blacksmith. Her assistant was Kargoth and was quite possibly still in town.

After much trouble and searching, Abdul told Bannu that Irena had shape-shifting ability, and could be found in the vicinity of the church. Abdul pointed to Brad Jennings, who was the Mayor, having succeeded Eutenax following his demise. Taking Abdul at his word, Bannu chased Jennings into the church, where the latter sought sanctuary. However, completely ignoring the usual rules of religious behaviour in holy places, Bannu murdered Jennings in front of the Priestess and some other worshippers in the church.

Only later did Bannu realise that he had been fooled by Abdul, who refused to admit to any skullduggery, and even became Mayor of Oonsla, and head of the Militia in succession to Brad Jennings. Bannu was caught, arrested and charged with murder. He was to stand trial in about two months from his date of arrest.
